Pollution- an uncontrollable Menace

Hi All,

Good Day!!!

As our country is growing in terms of Industries, the level of pollution is increasing drastically. Air, water, noise pollution is everywhere in the metropolitan cities of our country. As per the BBMP record, Bangalore has 189 lakes, yet Bangalore is facing water scarcity nowadays, as most of them are polluted.

Just imagine, if the lakes are not polluted so badly, how the Bangalore would be now.

Below is the image of Varthur lake by Hindustan times & Indian Express

Untreated sewage from chemical industries  sent to a BWSSB Sewage Treatment Plant in 50 tankers every day has left Varthur Lake in a such bad state.

The odour from the lake is also intolerable. We can also see the weeds covering the water surface. Toxic foam on the water.

Why are we, not feeling we are responsible for this?  What are we doing as our responsibility to reduce the toxic and restore the natural resource?

What are we leaving behind for our future generation to survive?

No Answers!!!!

Are we living right?

Hi All,

Welcome to my blog!!!

Our Life Nowadays

Its a happy thing that our country is emerging economically strong day by day.  But we are not realising the cost we are paying for that. Our Metro life revolves around getting white Collar Job, handsome salary, running to work, traveling via traffic, buying Apartment through best EMI plans, eating Junk foods, weekend parties, movies at Multiplex, shopping in malls, etc.,

Have we ever bothered other than this???We got used to all the anomalies of Nature.

We all bother on keeping our home neat. we don't bother where we all throw garbages. Increasing Homes in the metro cities are really good that they are sufficing for the needs. But we act like we didn't see how the lakes nearby our apartments are contaminating the water supply.

We have a mentality that when we pay money we can get anything. Our busy life has increased the pollution and noise everywhere. Whatever we buy, we cannot avoid adulteration in that. Summer has become unbearable nowadays.

What are we leaving behind for our future generation?
